I met Yangsng Wang (b. 1933) at the Japanese library in Pingtung, Taiwan. Wang, who speaks Japanese as if it were his mother tongue, was educated by the Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT) and Japan government. After that, he left Taiwan and spent 40 years in the United States. When he came back to Taiwan after retiring from his job in the US, a strange child spoke to him. He told me that the experience seemed to overlap with a certain Chinese poetry.
I replaced his note which was written during recalling his memory with the embroidery by multiple layers of threads, and projected his words (video) on it.
